Dialogue 1:

Marvin: Hi, I'm Marvin

Robert: Marvin? My name is Robert.

Marvin: I'm here to play baseball.

Robert: Good, we need more people to play.

Marvin: I'm not very good.

Robert: That dosen't matter. We're just here for fun.

Dialogue 2:

Amy: I'm Amy. And you are...?

Elizabeth: My name Elizabeth. You can call me Beth.

Amy: Oh, that is my mother's name.

Elizabeth: Really? I'm named after my grandmother.

Amy: Actually, Amy is not my real name. It's Amanda.

Elizabeth: Why do you go by Amy?

Amy: I don't Know. Ever since I was child, that is what people have called me.

Elizabeth: That's interesting.

Dialogue 3:

Dave: Good morning, I'm looking for Doctor Kolb's office.

Dr. Kolb: I am Dr. Kolb. How can I help you?

Dave: I'm Dave Fowler. My stomach has been hurting.

Dr. Kolb: Is it an emergency?

Dave: Oh, no, it's not that bad. I just need to make an appointment.

Dr. Kolb: Please talk to my secretary over there.

Dave: Thank you, Doctor. I will.

Dr. Kolb: I'll see you soon.

Dialogue 4:

Hugh: Hello, I'm Hugh. What can I do for you?

Paxton: Yes, I'm Bill Paxton. I left my car here last week. Is it repaired?

Hugh: Yes, sir, it is Mr.Paxton. Can you sign your name here?

Paxton: No problem.

Hugh: Okay, it's around back. I'll bring it up font.

Paxton: Thanks. What's the damage?

Hugh: To the car?

Paxton: No, I mean what is the cost

Hugh: I'll have to check with the mechanic.

Paxton:  I'll be right here.

Dialogue 5:

Tony: Hi, there. are you Tina?

Tina: Yes, I am. How did you know my name?

Tony: I'm friends with your roommate, Bob.

Tina: Oh, I didn't catch your name.

Tony: Yeah, I'm sorry. My name is Tony.

Tina: Pleased to meet you, Tony.

Tony: Same here.
